Lens types and available coatings
Our range covers the full spectrum of visual needs. Single-vision lenses correct myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism with a single power. Progressive lenses, such as Essilor Varilux or Zeiss Progressive, provide correction at all distances without a visible line. Degressive lenses are designed for screen work and extended reading, offering enhanced comfort for near and intermediate vision.
Every lens can receive advanced coatings: multi-layer anti-reflective for perfect transparency, blue light filter to protect your eyes from screens, hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment for a surface that stays clean, and integrated UV protection. High-index lenses (1.67 and 1.74) reduce lens thickness for strong prescriptions, combining slimness and lightness.
Turnaround times and in-store fitting
Our turnaround times reflect our commitment to efficient service. In-stock single-vision lenses are fitted in 1 hour. Out-of-stock single-vision lenses are available within 24 hours. Progressive, tinted or high-index lenses are delivered in 5 to 10 working days. Every fitting undergoes rigorous quality checks before delivery, verified with a lensometer and digital centring device.
During your visit to Art Optical, our optometrist will present several options with personalised advice, detailing the advantages of each Zeiss or Essilor lens.
