2-year warranty on all frames

Our warranties: a commitment to quality

At Art Optical, on Avenue de la Toison d'Or in Brussels, our warranty goes beyond legal obligation: it reflects the exacting standards we apply to the selection of every frame and every lens. Here is a complete overview of all our warranties. They are included in the price of your eyewear and are valid exclusively for glasses supplied by our store. For any specific questions, we invite you to visit us in store.

Adaptation warranty (1 month). All our exceptional eyewear, whether fitted with single-vision lenses, Varilux or Zeiss progressive lenses, or degressive lenses, is guaranteed for one month against adjustment difficulties. This warranty may be extended in case of difficulty visiting the store. For your follow-up visit, please allow a minimum of 1 hour, as our optometrist will check the glasses, verify the centring and carry out a new eye examination if necessary. Ideally, bring your old comfortable pair so we can compare.

Legal warranty of 2 years. All our eyewear is guaranteed for 2 years against manufacturing defects, in accordance with Belgian legislation. This warranty covers any defect affecting the comfort or condition of your frame. Depending on the situation, we proceed with repair or replacement, with one constant objective: to preserve the balance, comfort and elegance of the original design.

Breakage warranty. Our high-end eyewear, including designer optical frames and limited editions, is guaranteed for 1 year against breakage. Other eyewear is guaranteed for 2 years against breakage. Certain types of Zeiss and Essilor lenses are also guaranteed against breakage. See detailed conditions in store.

Coating warranty (3 years). Multi-layer anti-reflective coatings on all our lenses are guaranteed for 3 years. This includes the anti-reflective, hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings applied to the Zeiss and Essilor lenses we offer. This warranty attests to the durability of the premium coatings we select.

After-sales service, maintenance and conditions

Included after-sales service. Beyond the warranty, our after-sales service is part of an attentive and sustainable care approach. Precise adjustments, careful tightening, ultrasonic cleaning, replacement of nose pads or screws: every service is carried out with the same rigour as the first fitting. This service is generally complimentary for eyewear supplied by Art Optical.

Theft warranty. Certain types of lenses are guaranteed against theft. This specific warranty depends on the type of lens chosen. Consult the detailed conditions in store during your personalised consultation.

Claims procedure. In the event of an issue covered by the warranty, visit our store at Avenue de la Toison d'Or 24, bringing your glasses and your purchase invoice. Our team will assess the situation and proceed with repair or replacement as promptly as possible. For designer frames from limited editions, replacement may require additional time depending on availability.

Please note: scratches on lenses and/or frames are never covered by any warranty. We recommend cleaning with lukewarm water, a mild soap and a microfibre cloth. Avoid placing your glasses upside down and always store them in their case. These warranties require a respectful and cordial relationship with our team members and may be withdrawn at any time.
